What are the eligibility requirements to vote for Board Director candidates?
All CoServ Members with a paid membership as of the record date of Monday, April 19, 2021, will be eligible to vote in the 2021 Board Director Election.
How do I vote for Board Director candidates?
CoServ will have two options for voting this year. The official election ballot will be mailed to all eligible CoServ Members on Friday, May 14, 2021. Along with the mail-in ballot, the document will include a link to a website where Members may vote online through a secure portal set up by our election official, Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS). Members may choose to vote online or mail their completed ballot to SBS using the provided prepaid envelope. Ballots must be received at the offices of SBS by 5 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2021.
NEW! The election ballot will be mailed separately and will NOT be included in our Texas Co-op Power magazine.
Why should I vote for Board Director candidates?
Board candidates are elected at large, which means that all Members may vote for candidates in all districts. Although both of this year’s candidates are running uncontested, we still encourage you to vote so that a quorum of Members can be established.
Each successfully completed ballot received by 5 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021, will be entered in this year’s random drawing of 100 $100 bill credits. The drawing will be conducted by Survey & Ballot Systems and announced online after the business meeting.
What happens if I mail in a ballot and vote online?
If the same Member casts both an online and a mail-in ballot, the election administrator, Survey & Ballot Systems, will count the mail-in ballot as the official vote.
How do I get a replacement ballot?
To request a replacement ballot or online voting credentials, contact Survey & Ballot Systems at 952-974-2339 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lost the prepaid envelope provided? Mail your ballot to 7653 Anagram Dr., Eden Prairie, MN 55344.
