Budget Billing average your 12 previous bills so that you pay the same amount every month. This program protects you from extreme seasonal temperatures that affect your monthly bill.
The Budget Billing amount is recalculated every April and October and takes into account any accumulated unpaid balances or credits and rolls that into your new Budget Billing amount. Once the recalculation is complete, you will receive a bill message and the new Monthly Budget Amount will go into effect the following month.
You can enroll online through your SmartHub account. Your account must have a zero balance at the time of enrollment to be eligible. Your Monthly Budget Amount will be calculated before you agree to the terms of enrollment.
CoServ residential Electric Members and Gas Customers must have six months of billing history at a particular address before they can qualify for the Budget Billing program. Budget Billing is only available for residential accounts.

Please note: If your balance is not paid by the due date, you will be subject to immediate removal from the plan and any outstanding credit/debit will be applied to your next statement.
