When you experience a power outage, you want your service restored as quickly as possible. CoServ has three easy options to make sure that you can report the outage, check the status of an outage and get notifications for when power will be restored.
How do I report outages?
CoServ Members can now report power outages by texting OUT to 855-938-3496. Using this new two-way communication tool, Members can also get updates during an outage by texting STATUS to the same number.
The old six-digit number previously used by CoServ for text communications has been phased out. If you still have that number saved, please update it to the new number, 855-938-3496.
To sign up for this feature, first, log in to SmartHub. Click Notifications > Manage Contacts > + Add Phone Contact.
If you were signed up under the previous number, that will carry over to the new number and you don’t need to take any action.
Who is eligible for this texting feature?
Members must have an active CoServ Electric account and be signed up for SmartHub.
The phone number must be associated with the account and be designated as a messenger contact.
Who is NOT eligible?
Members who have been disconnected for non-payment, are pending reconnection, or prepaid Members who have been disconnected. Once the account is in good standing, they will be eligible again.
Members that have an existing open outage.
Are there other ways to report an outage?
Log in to SmartHub or the CoServ App. Click Contact Us > Report An Issue/Inquiry > Power Outage. With the CoServ App you may be required to click More prior to Contact Us > Report An Issue/Inquiry > Power Outage.
You can also report outages by phone at (844) 330-0762 and bookmark CoServ.com/OutageMap for estimated restoration times and other updates.
