Residential customers who have purchased service from CoServ for 12 months and have a zero balance are eligible for our Rolling Average Billing. This plan is based on a rolling 12-month average, which helps smooth out dramatic changes in your monthly bills.
How does it work?
- Your electric bill is calculated by adding your current amount due to your previous 11 months' total and dividing by 12 plus 1/12th of the budget plan's accumulated balance.
- Your amount due will not be the same every month but an average based on the calculation.
- Enrollment in AutoPay via credit card or bank account is required.
- You may opt out of Rolling Average Billing at any time—just let us know. Otherwise you will remain in the program until you close your account.
*The budget plan keeps track of the difference between what you would have paid through regular monthly billing and what you pay through the Rolling Average Billing program. Since the Rolling Average Billing amount is recalculated each month, there is no need to "settle up" at the end of the year.
CoServ reserves the right to remove any account from the Rolling Average Billing program at any time due to returned or insufficient payment.
